StreetLens Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between StreetLens LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("StreetLens," "we," "us," or "our"), and the organization or individual that subscribes to or uses our platform ("Customer," "you," or "your"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the StreetLens web platform, mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. What StreetLens Does
StreetLens provides an AI-assisted property-conditions documentation platform. Users capture video and GPS data while driving a community or municipal zone; our automated systems and trained human review team process that data overnight; and the Service produces Conditions Reports, Property Condition Records, Community Health Scores, route maps, and pre-filled violation-letter drafts.
StreetLens documents property conditions. It does not enforce them. StreetLens does not determine whether any condition constitutes a violation, does not make enforcement decisions, and does not act as the author or sender of any violation notice. Those determinations and actions are made solely by you, the Customer, through your authorized Users. This distinction is fundamental to the Service and to these Terms.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
To use the Service you must register an account with accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account; and
- ensuring that each User accessing the Service is authorized by you and complies with these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. The Service is for business use by management companies, associations, and municipal departments, not for personal or household purposes. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial (currently 14 days and a limited number of inspections, subject to change). No payment card is required to start a trial. During the trial you have access to Service features as described at signup. At the end of the trial, the Service does not automatically begin charging — your account moves to a read-only state until you choose to subscribe by adding a payment method.
If you complete a trial and choose not to subscribe, you may request that we delete your trial data, and we will do so consistent with our Privacy Policy. We may modify or discontinue trials at any time.
4. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Billing
4.1 Plans and Pricing
Paid access is sold on a per-community basis using blended volume tiers, billed monthly or annually as you select. Pricing in effect at the time you subscribe applies to your subscription. We may change pricing prospectively; changes will not affect your current paid term and will be communicated before they take effect.
4.2 Authorization to Charge
When you subscribe, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including recurring charges and any prorated amounts for communities added mid-cycle. StreetLens does not store your full card or bank account numbers; payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own terms.
4.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you consent to automatic renewal and to the recurring charges that result, until you cancel.
4.4 Adding and Removing Communities
You may add communities at any time; added communities are charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current cycle. You may remove communities, and a prorated credit for unused days is applied to your next invoice by default, or refunded to your payment method on request.
4.5 Failed Payments
If a charge fails, we (through Stripe) will retry according to a standard retry schedule and notify you. If payment remains unresolved after our retries, we may suspend or pause your subscription until the balance is resolved.
4.6 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time. On cancellation, we calculate any prorated refund for unused days as applicable, your access continues until the end of the paid period, and your account then transitions to read-only as described in our data-retention practices. Except for prorated credits and refunds expressly described here, fees are non-refundable. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.
5. Customer Data and Your Responsibilities
"Customer Data" means all data you or your Users submit to or generate through the Service, including video, images, GPS data, property and homeowner records, reports, and violation-letter drafts.
You retain ownership of your Customer Data. You grant StreetLens a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service for you, including through our automated systems and human review team as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of Customer Data is lawful. In particular, you represent and warrant that:
- you have the right and authority — including from the associations or municipalities you serve — to capture, upload, and process the property-condition data you submit;
- your inspection activity is conducted lawfully, including any recording from public roadways;
- you have the authority to enter and use the homeowner, resident, and property records you input; and
- your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, governing documents (CC&Rs), municipal codes, and contracts.
6. The Customer Decides — Violation Letters and Documentation
The Service may generate drafts of violation letters and related documents, pre-filled with information such as property address, governing-document or code references, condition photos, and cure deadlines. These are drafts only.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Any violation letter or notice is your letter (or your association's or municipality's letter), not StreetLens's. StreetLens is not the sender, author, or enforcing party.
- A condition documented by the Service is not a violation unless and until your authorized User reviews and decides to treat it as one.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, sending, and acting on any document generated through the Service, and for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any enforcement action you take.
- StreetLens provides documentation tools and makes no determination, recommendation, or guarantee regarding whether any condition warrants enforcement.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to, and not to permit any User or third party to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or harmful purpose, including surveillance of individuals;
- access another customer's data or attempt to circumvent tenant isolation or security controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service, except where permitted by law;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
- upload malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service;
- misrepresent the source or authority of any document generated through the Service; or
- use the Service to violate any person's privacy or other legal rights.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
8. StreetLens Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, technology, designs, workflows, report formats, and all related intellectual property, is patent pending and owned by StreetLens or its licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service during your subscription. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not use our name, logos, or branding without our prior written permission. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers, including AWS (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), and email-delivery providers. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services. Integrations you configure (for example, with association-management platforms) are used at your own discretion and risk.
10. Service Availability and Changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, perform maintenance, or impose limits, and we may update the Service over time. Reports and processing depend on factors including the quality of captured footage; we do not guarantee that every condition will be detected or that any report will be free of error.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreetLens disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, StreetLens does not warrant that the service will detect all property conditions, that any report, description, GPS match, or draft document is accurate or complete, or that the service is suitable for any particular enforcement, legal, or regulatory purpose. StreetLens is a documentation tool and does not provide legal advice. You are responsible for independently verifying any output before relying on or acting on it.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreetLens and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the service or these terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
This expressly includes any damages arising from a violation notice, enforcement action, or dispute based on documentation generated through the service, or from any decision you make based on the service's output.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreetLens total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service or these terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to StreetLens for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StreetLens and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- your or your Users' use of the Service;
- any violation letter, notice, or enforcement action issued, sent, or taken by you or on your behalf, including claims by homeowners, residents, or third parties;
- your Customer Data, including its capture, upload, accuracy, and your right to use it;
- your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party right.
This indemnity reflects the core allocation of responsibility in these Terms: StreetLens supplies documentation tools, and you control all enforcement decisions and actions.
14. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Each party agrees to protect the other's non-public information. Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are responsible for handling homeowner and resident information you process through the Service in compliance with applicable law.
15. Term, Suspension, and Termination
These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time as described in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 16) survive termination. Data handling after termination follows our Privacy Policy and data-retention practices.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration shall be the state or federal courts located in Florida, and each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or plan terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and StreetLens regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to StreetLens should be sent to our website contact page.
